Brett Hundley runs, throws, catches touchdown and punts in win (Video)

Brett HundleyBrett Hundley hit for the football cycle on Thursday in UCLA’s 34-27 win at Utah. The Bruins redshirt sophomore quarterback threw for a touchdown, rushed for a touchdown, caught a touchdown pass and even pinned Utah inside the 10 with a punt.

Hundley went 17-of-27 for 211 yards, a touchdown and interception. He rushed 20 times for 85 yards, including a 36-yard score to nearly seal the game for the Bruins. He also caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Devin Fuller on a trick play in the second quarter.

The video at the top has all three of Hundley’s scores, but doesn’t show his punt. On the Bruins’ second possession of the game, UCLA had a 4th and 3 at the Utah 35. Hundley punted for 27 yards and the ball was downed at the 8.

Despite the great game, Hundley did have a costly mistake. He threw a pick six in the fourth quarter that allowed the Utes to tie the game at 24. Still, the Bruins pulled out the game and Hundley’s cycle should earn him a spot on most highlight reels.
