Bryce Petty suffers concussion, says he will play against Kansas State
Bryce Petty is adamant about playing in Baylor’s game against Kansas State next week despite suffering a concussion during his team’s victory over Texas Tech on Saturday.
Petty suffered a “mild” concussion in the third quarter after being hit by Sam Eguavoen, who was flagged for a personal foul. Petty was down after the hit and took a while to get up. After being treated, he watched the rest of the game from the sidelines. Baylor was up 35-17 at the time of Petty’s concussion and squeaked out a 48-46 win.
The 10-1 Bears face Kansas State next weekend, and Petty said after Saturday’s game that he was definitely going to play. He used some colorful language, too.
More Bryce Petty on whether there's any way he doesn't play next weekend: "Can I cuss here? … Hell no."

Petty says he has experienced headches:
Bryce Petty said he went, "out for a second or two and not coming back in was precautionary I've had a headache or two."

Petty says he is going to play, and there is no way I see Baylor sitting him out, but he still needs to be medically cleared. They will clear him.
