Ex-Heisman winner throws shade at Tennessee fans after big loss
Former Heisman Trophy winner Danny Wuerffel threw some shade at Tennessee fans after the Florida Gators stomped the Vols 47-21 in Saturday’s rivalry game between the teams.
Wuerffel sent a tweet mocking Vols fans for clearing out of Neyland Stadium early as Tennessee was getting beat.
Our @GatorsFB team is looking good tonight in Tennessee. The stadium is empty with lots of time left. Looks familiar to me #GoGators

Wuerffel played quarterback at Florida from 1993-1996, won the Heisman as a senior, and went 4-0 against the Vols in his college career, so he has some room to gloat. One of the wins was a 31-0 stomping of Tennessee on the road in 1994.
Feleipe Franks is no Wuerffel, but he did throw three touchdowns and rush for another score on Saturday, which is all the Gators needed.
