Ezekiel Elliott jokes about taking out loan for steak dinner for offensive line
Ohio State improved to 5-0 with a 34-27 win over Indiana on Saturday with running back Ezekiel Elliott leading the way.
Elliott racked up 274 yards on the ground, second most in school history. 243 of those yards came after halftime and included touchdown runs of 55, 65 and 75 yards.
When a running back has a day like that, it’s usually because the offensive line paved the way and that was the case against Indiana. Coming into the season, the front five for the Buckeyes was touted as being among the best units in the country and Elliott is certainly appreciative of their efforts on Saturday.
After the contest, Elliott took to his Twitter account to say the big guys deserve a steak dinner, one that might require taking out a small loan.

A happy offensive line is a productive offensive line. And, a productive offensive line may get Elliott to New York for the Heisman Trophy ceremony and Ohio State to the college football playoff for a shot at back-to-back championships. It could be a worthwhile investment.
