Florida DT Leon Orr skips game, takes bus home to Gainesville
Florida fifth-year senior defensive tackle Leon Orr skipped Saturday night’s game against Vanderbilt in Nashville and took a bus home to Gainesville because he was upset he wouldn’t be starting. True story.
Florida website Gatorzone.com says Orr “expressed displeasure” over not being in the starting lineup for the fifth straight game and decided to bus it back to school after having a talk with head coach Will Muschamp.
“He was more concerned with starting than being part of the team,” Muschamp said.
