Florida WR Freddie Swain throws shade at Kentucky ahead of game

Florida wide receiver Freddie Swain threw a little shade at Kentucky ahead of Saturday’s game between the teams.

The sophomore was informed that Kentucky has lost 30 straight games to the Gators. Upon learning that, Swain told the media that the game was probably like the “Super Bowl” for Kentucky, compared to one that meant less to Florida

“That’s probably like their Super Bowl, you know what I’m saying,” Swain said Tuesday. “If I lost to a team that long, I mean, I’d try to win too. I mean that would be a big win.”

The Wildcats enter the contest 3-0 compared to the 1-1 Gators. It might be Kentucky’s best chance at winning this game in a while. Florida has lost to Michigan and barely squeaked out a win over Tennessee on a Hail Mary. Kentucky is coming off a nice win at South Carolina and will be home against Florida. They are just 2.5-point underdogs.

Florida needs to be on alert and treating this one as their Super Bowl, otherwise they could end up stunned.
