Florida linebacker critical of teammates after blowout loss to Missouri
It’s safe to say that the Florida Gators hit rock bottom with a 45-16 loss to Missouri on Saturday, and one player was quite vocal in his disappointment after the defeat.
A week after the school dismissed coach Jim McElwain, interim coach Randy Shannon didn’t have the Gators playing any better. That was not good enough for sophomore linebacker David Reese, who said the players had let the coaching staff down — while implying that some of his teammates weren’t playing for each other.

The Gators are a mess right now. Among the only good news is that their recruiting hasn’t completely fallen apart, but it’s quite clear that the coaches and some players are not all on the same page, and the team is headed for a completely lost season.
