Georgia coach explains spat between defensive players
Georgia coach Kirby Smart dismissed a spat between two of his defenders as a little bit of love between brothers.
Bulldog defenders Brenton Cox and D’Andre Walker were spotted getting into it on the field during the team’s 49-7 win over Middle Tennessee, and the altercation briefly turned physical before the pair were separated by teammates.
Kirby Smart said this dust-up between #UGA defenders Brenton Cox and D'Andre Walker was about "Love." The tough kind, apparently. #Dawgs pic.twitter.com/2yurq1uAUZ

At least publicly, the dust-up was nothing to coach Kirby Smart, who attributed it to, well, “love.”
Kirby Smart was asked about D'Andre Walker and Brenton Cox getting into a "spat" in second quarter. What was that about? "Love. … Sometimes when you care about somebody so much and you want them to do something right, you encourage them to do right." Was handled internally.

Hey, it happens in every sport. Sometimes it just happens in private, but things look like they calmed down pretty quickly and everyone will move forward now.
