Georgia fans crashed StubHub looking for title tickets after Oklahoma game
Georgia fans watched their team pull off a win in one of the most exciting college football games you will ever see on Monday, and many of them want to witness the Bulldogs take on Alabama in person.
If you plan on doing that by way of StubHub, it’ll cost about $2,000 just to get in the door.
After Georgia beat Oklahoma, ESPN’s Darren Rovell noted that StubHub’s page for the national title game ended up crashing temporarily.

With title game in Atlanta and Georgia in it, StubHub’s title game ticket page was down for about 30 minutes after Bulldogs beat Sooners. Now back up. Cheapest ticket is $2,480.

As of Tuesday morning, the cheapest nosebleed ticket to get you into Mercedez-Benz Stadium for next week’s game was $1,999.99. Rovell expects those prices to hold up even as the game gets closer.
We already know how rabid SEC fans are, so it’s no surprise a championship game between Georgia and Alabama is expected to set records. The hype was even stronger with the Bulldogs having defeated Baker Mayfield, who was taunted by a Georgia player after the game.
Alabama opened as a 4.5-point favorite over Georgia for the title game.
