Georgia players pay tribute to Todd Gurley after win
Georgia was without Todd Gurley for the first time on Saturday, and the absence of the Heisman Trophy candidate didn’t seem to hold the team back at all. The Bulldogs cruised to an easy 34-0 victory over Missouri, but they didn’t forget about their suspended teammate.
After the win, several Georgia players walked off the field holding three fingers in the air as an obvious tribute to No. 3.

Gurley was suspended indefinitely by Georgia earlier this week as the school investigates possible NCAA violations. He was reportedly busted for selling memorabilia, though it doesn’t sound like Gurley made all that much money.
Missouri was ranked No. 23 in the nation heading into Saturday’s game, so it’s impressive that Georgia was able to dominate on the road without one of its best players. We’ll see if the Bulldogs can continue their success without Gurley going forward.
