Jeopardy! jabs Notre Dame over BCS title game loss to Alabama
Prior to the 2013 BCS Championship Game that saw Manti Te’o and Notre Dame face off against A.J. McCarron, Eddie Lacy, and Alabama, many felt the game wouldn’t be much of a contest.
And they were right.
The Crimson Tide rolled over the Fighting Irish, putting up over 500 yards of offense on the way to a decisive 42-14 victory to capture their second consecutive national championship and third in four years. Even Kate Upton got in on the act of piling on Notre Dame.
We can also add the popular game show Jeopardy! to the list. Notre Dame made its way into one of the answers, which also managed to deliver a jab towards the Fighting Irish.
It’s nothing that hasn’t been said countless times since that game ended, but there’s something about seeing it written out on television that makes you say, “That’s cold.”
