Kirby Smart hints at Georgia starting quarterback decision
It appears that the Georgia Bulldogs are staying the course at the quarterback position, at least for now.
Coach Kirby Smart wouldn’t commit to a quarterback decision on Wednesday, but he tipped his hand by noting that Jake Fromm has been receiving the majority of first-team practice reps.
Kirby Smart not necessarily naming a starting QB, but does say that Jake Fromm has taken most of the snaps with the ones. So … draw your own conclusions.

It’s unusual that a freshman would lead his school to the national title game and have to fight for his job, but that’s the situation the Bulldogs are in. He’s facing highly-touted freshman Justin Fields in a battle, but Fromm’s experience has given him the leg up despite an injury scare earlier in the offseason.
