Watch: LSU’s Devin White pulls out Cam Newton celebration at Auburn
LSU linebacker Devin White made quite the statement when playing the Auburn Tigers on Saturday.
White made a key stop on 4th and 1 in the first quarter to stuff Aubur, and ran off in celebration. Said celebration appeared to have a message — Cam Newton’s famous “Superman” move at his alma mater.

White was hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for the celebration, but LSU still got the ball thanks to his work. It’s fair to say that the significance of the celebration was not lost on the Auburn fans, either.
White’s move wasn’t quite as bold as doing it in Newton’s NFL home while playing against him. White can’t do that yet, but if he keeps playing like this, he’ll be playing on Sundays in no time.
