LSU attempts to make South Carolina feel at home during relocated game
Due to severe flooding in South Carolina, Saturday’s scheduled Gamecocks home game against the LSU Tigers was moved to LSU’s Tiger Stadium. LSU has subsequently gone out of their way to make the environment as comfortable as possible for their “guests.”
First, they’ve put signs in the press box welcoming media members to “Williams-Brice Stadium (Tiger Stadium Edition).”

The LSU band has also learned South Carolina’s fight song and, in keeping with Gamecocks tradition, “Sandstorm” will be played over the loudspeakers prior to kickoff.
To top it all off, the state flag of South Carolina is being shown on the big screen, and the actual flag is being flown at the stadium.

Most importantly, LSU will be collecting donations from fans that will go to the American Red Cross to help flood victims back in South Carolina.
These are just a few of the gestures LSU has made this week, and they deserve a tip of the cap for their hospitality.
