D-II running back Martee Tenner does flip over defender, keeps going (Video)

Tis the day to showcase the abilities of freakishly athletic football players at small schools here at LBS. Earlier in the day, we showed you the cornerback from Presbyterian who can jump onto a 5-foot stack of boxes from the stand-still position. If you thought that was amazing, the video above that Deadspin shared with us should make your jaw drop.

The gentleman who recently pulled off a full front flip over a defender and kept on running is Martee Tenner, a running back from Division-II Lincoln University. Sure, Jerome Simpson’s flip into the end zone was impressive, but even he admitted he used the defender for a boost and a hand to balance himself on the landing. And those receivers who caught passes while doing backflips? Very nice, but it wasn’t during game action. Granted, Tenner did it during a spring game — but a game nonetheless.

Hands down one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.
