Clarett concluded the night by hyping up his website and encouraging people to purchase gear or workout videos at his site. We’ll link to it here to help him out.
The documentary was a reminder to many of how good Clarett was. My buddy Rey and I couldn’t believe how good this guy was as a freshman. It was so rare to see someone start at running back as a true freshman for a major program like Ohio State, and here was Clarett doing it. He was so awesome. A man among boys despite being so young.
Ohio State definitely didn’t handle him well, but he also got himself into a lot of trouble with his stupidity. There were failures on both sides. It’s a real shame how his playing career went to pieces, but it’s nice to see that he appears to have changed his life for the better. He was a real joy to watch that one year at Ohio State.
