Minnesota suspends 10 players indefinitely

Minnesota announced on Tuesday that it has suspended 10 players from the football team indefinitely.

The school says the following 10 players are the ones who were suspended: Ray Buford, Carlton Djam, Seth Green, KiAnte Hardin, Dior Johnson, Tamarion Johnson, Kobe McCrary, Antonio Shenault, Mark Williams and Antoine Winfield Jr.

Four of the players were suspended earlier this season after police investigated an allegation made in early September. An alleged victim who is part of the team’s gameday staff filed for a restraining order that kept Buford, Hardin and both Johnsons along with Djam away from the stadium. The restraining order was eventually lifted as part of a settlement.

The Golden Gophers are set to face Washington State in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27.
