Nebraska QB Adrian Martinez considered day-to-day
The Nebraska Cornhuskers appear to have gotten good news on freshman quarterback Adrian Martinez.
On Monday, coach Scott Frost said Martinez suffered a knee injury but is day-to-day, and he has a chance to play Saturday against Troy.
"We got about as good of news as we could have gotten on Adrian, so he's going to be day-to-day."

Martinez’s injury looked quite bad at the time he suffered it late in the fourth quarter against Colorado. His debut was certainly promising enough to earn him further starts, with 187 yards passing, 117 yards rushing, and three total touchdowns. The Cornhuskers will be hoping he can recover quickly enough that he’ll be good to go against the Trojans.
