Nick Saban has legendary quote about new NCAA headset rule
Nick Saban didn’t disappoint when he offered his thoughts on a new rule implemented by the NCAA for the upcoming college football season.
The NCAA recently approved a rule that limits the number of people who can communicate via headsets during a game to 20 per team. Among those allowed to use headsets are the head coach, assistants, graduate assistants, four players, and one other staff member who is a non-coaching role.
When asked about the new rule, Saban produced a legendary quote.

Saban clearly feels the NCAA has bigger issues to deal with than who or how many people are using headsets during a college football game to communicate. He’s certainly not alone with that line of thinking.
Saban has made quite a few changes to his coaching staff during the offseason, including the additions of Mike Locksley as offensive coordinator, Tosh Lupoi as defensive coordinator, and former Tennessee head coach Butch Jones, who will have an “intern-like” role.
