North Texas makes fun of Tennessee’s field on Twitter
The turf at Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium is not in good shape, and their opponent on Saturday wasn’t afraid to air their grievances.
The Vols hosted North Texas on Saturday. This was the field that the two teams had to deal with.

It’s pretty embarrassing, especially for a program of Tennessee’s stature. They’re aware of the problem, which was also present last Saturday and led to several players slipping. Despite coach Butch Jones’s assurances that the powers that be were trying to get as much of it fixed as possible, clearly things weren’t much better on Saturday.
Tennessee’s opponent, the North Texas Mean Green, weren’t pleased, as evidenced by this tweet.

The Mean Green have one win this season and are buried at the bottom of Conference USA, and they’re trolling Tennessee over their facilities, and with good reason, too. Ouch.
