Notre Dame CB Devin Butler says FSU fan threw alcoholic drink at his family
We’ve heard plenty of horror stories about the poor treatment of relatives of the opposing team’s players during road games, and this certainly is right up there.
Notre Dame cornerback Devin Butler says his brother and his daughter had an alcoholic drink thrown at them during Saturday’s exciting game in Tallahassee between Florida State and Notre Dame:
To the FSU fan who threw a cup of liquor at my brother in a wheelchair and his 5 year old daughter I hope to see you one day…

When someone challenged Butler about his story, he wrote this back:
We’ve heard things like this far too many times before. Josh Hamilton has talked about his family needing extra security in Texas, while family members aren’t even safe from the home crowd in Philly.
You stay classy, Noles fans.
