Ole Miss calls themselves Alabama state champions
Ole Miss beat Auburn on Saturday 27-19 to improve to 7-2 on the season. The Rebels are 3-1 in the SEC, but the important thing is two of their conference wins came over the power teams in the state of Alabama. In addition to beating Auburn, they also beat Alabama 43-37 in September. And that’s something the Rebs are proud of.

When you beat Auburn and Bama in the same season, that’s reason enough to celebrate. Now we’re just waiting to hear whether fans end up like this as a result.
