Recruit Elijah Hood flushes Alabama letters down toilet
Running back recruit Elijah Hood has already committed to Notre Dame, so he apparently has no use for Alabama’s interest in him.
The five-star recruit from Charlotte Catholic High School expressed his feelings toward the Crimson Tide — who continued to send him letters even after he committed to the Irish in April — by flushing recruiting letters from the school down the toilet in a Vine video titled, “Roll Toilet.”
Hood apparently found the whole thing highly amusing, tweeting the following around 30 minutes after posting the video:
lol the amount of retweetage #RollToilet is getting hahahahah

Why the strong feelings for Notre Dame over Bama? Hood apparently is concerned about academics. He tweeted in response to someone about Bama’s “failing grade rate for African Americans.”
@ian_leo_m @natt_norm The sound of getting crushed by bama’s what? failing grad rate for African Americans yea makes sense haha #RollToilet

For someone wise enough to consider graduation rates, this was a pretty stupid move by the youngster. Now he’s going to be a marked man for Tide fans. Let’s hope for his sake that he can handle all the negative attention.
Below are images from the video:
Though Hood may be the first recruit to flush letters down the toilet on camera, he’s not the first to do something like this. Last year, we saw a Michigan commit burn a letter from Ohio State. A month after that, a BYU recruit did the same thing with a letter from Utah.
