Scott Frost gets day named in his honor for first Nebraska game
How excited is Nebraska for the return of Scott Frost? Very excited.
In fact, before even coaching his first Cornhuskers game, Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts has already proclaimed Saturday as Scott Frost Day throughout the state.

No pressure for the former title-winning quarterback, who is being hailed as the man with the know-how to turn around what has been a struggling program in recent years. Add in Frost’s remarkable run of success at UCF and the hype machine is turned all the way up, even if it may be a year too soon for them to really contend for anything.
Don’t tell that to Nebraska’s athletic director, though, who is just as excited about what Frost’s arrival means for the program as the governor is.
