Stanford field goal attempt hits top of upright (Video)
During Saturday’s game between Stanford and Notre Dame, the Cardinal had a field goal miss in one of the strangest ways possible.
In the first quarter, Stanford kicker Conrad Ukropina lined up for a 45-yard attempt. What happened next, you have to see to believe. Ukropina’s kick was no good after bouncing off the top of the left upright.

After starting out the season 3-0, Stanford has lost two consecutive games by a combined score of 86-22. If there’s a play to sum up the team’s recent stretch, it’s definitely this one.
