Tim Tebow is a rock star and a god, and the rest of us are mere mortals. We already knew that his NIKE gear sells out instantaneously, so finding out that his book Through My Eyes is sixth on the New York Times best seller list for non-fiction should not be a surprise. It also shouldn’t be a surprise that someone as popular as he is, someone beloved enough to have his own statue in Florida, would draw thousands of fans for a book signing at a local Walmart in Gainesville. Some fans even showed up for the Thursday signing on Wednesday and camped out overnight. Check out this video from The Gainesville Sun:
The Sun reports that the line was 600 deep as of 3pm (the signing was only between 6-8pm) and the store sold out all its copies of the book. Man, this Tebow can golf, he can hit baseballs, and he can move product. What can’t he do? I guess that’s a question for the Broncos to find out.
