Saturday proved no different, as former Longhorn Tristan Thompson let the Sooners have it on Twitter after Texas’s 48-45 win.

It is, in fact, a big-time win for Texas, who moved ahead of the Sooners in the Big 12 standings. It’s a moment worth celebrating for a program that has been down for several years now and has yearned for a victory of this caliber, especially over a chief rival.
One prominent NFL rookie, however, is going to be licking his wounds after this one. Maybe it’s best for him to stay off social media for a little bit.
