May the dream come true. This week, UCLA football has the opportunity to make up for the mistake made five years ago. Hire The Mooch, and all will be forgiven and forgotten. Please let the dream come true.

So, wait a minute — you want to trade one coach who ran the West Coast offense, albeit poorly, for another WC-offensive mind with a better track record?
Pay the buyout for Petersen or Leach instead.
What Dorrell ran can hardly be called the West Coast offense — because it really had no offense in it.
Mooch has a name and personality for national recruiting. The Peterson and Leach will have entertaining offenses and we will lose games by basketball scores. Leach gave up over 50 points to Texas in a down year for the ‘horns, and Peterson had no clue how to defend Hawaii.
Since they will not go after Neuheisel, then Mooch should be the man.
