Larry David yawning is for some reason a hilarious GIF

Larry-David-yawnThose of you who are loyal LBS readers have probably picked up on the fact that LB and Del are two of the biggest fans Larry David has. We love “Seinfeld” and are borderline obsessed with his work in “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” If you’re not a huge LD fan, you might not get why the GIF of him yawning at the New York Knicks game on Monday night is so mesmerizing.

Cameras caught David at the perfect moment, with 2.5 seconds remaining in overtime and New York leading 98-96. Fortunately for Larry, the Knicks held onto the lead and the Suns were unable to force a second overtime. Our man LD clearly couldn’t have taken another five minutes of basketball. It looked like he was ready to call it a night. Either that or he had something stuck in his throat again.

I can see something like this happening: “The person who gave him the tickets really wanted to go but couldn’t. That person then happens to see Larry yawning on tv and is now furious with him because he didn’t enjoy the awesome seats that were given to him.

He looked like a sea lion there with his mouth open. Or wait, is it a seal? What’s the difference between a seal and a sea lion anyway? I’ve never understood that. I mean why don’t they just call them the same thing. They look the same, act the same, they’re practically the same thing.

That’s it, from now on I’m just going to call all of them seals. I’ve had enough with the seal/sea lion confusion. It’s just too tiring.

And why do they make identifying animals so difficult? You have the Indian elephant and the Asian elephant, and then you have crocodiles and alligators. Who can keep them straight?
