Legedu Naanee Ineligible for High Life Sponsorship After Resisting Arrest

This series is sponsored by Miller High Life – The Official Beer Of You. Find out how you can get sponsored by Miller High Life

So Miller High Life, the sponsor of this post, is all about the common people. They’re the Official Beer of YOU — the average working man. See, they’re not into flashy folks who like to spend $500 on a bottle of champagne that tastes like something from the $10 rack just because it’s expensive. They’re not down with the athletes that go all third person on us and think their importance is greater than the rest of ours. They’re all about the average man, and they’re looking for suggestions of people to sponsor — so help them out. While I don’t have any suggestions off hand of whom they should sponsor, I can suggest someone who’s High Life contract just went up in pepper spray-fueled flames.

Legedu Naanee.

Until the last few days, only the most devoted Chargers fans or fantasy football freaks knew about Naanee. Now, most people will associate this guy with his recent run-in with the law.

Naanee was arrested in Indianapolis Saturday for public intoxication and resisting arrest. Around 3:30am, an allegedly drunk Naanee stumbled by a crime scene and was told to walk away. He refused to and had to be arrested, but he wound up pepper sprayed because he was pulling away from the cop. Now get this. Best part is Naanee said, according to police, “Do you know who I am? I am an NFL player and I’m going to sue your ass.”

Boom!

Legedu Naanee, a man whose reputation as an NFL player clearly speaks for itself, has no business ever being badgered by policemen. How dare they arrest someone with three career touchdowns? Don’t they know they could get in trouble for taking such drastic measures against such a valuable member of our society? Quite obviously they do not, but at least Naanee knows how important he is. I’m sure we’ll see just how important the rest of league deems him after the Chargers cut his butt.

Then, maybe after the humbling experience he’ll try to cool the attitude and kick it with some High Life. Until then, he can wave bye-bye to that High Life signing bonus.
