Michael Sam alleged nude Grindr selfie not him according to agent
An alleged nude selfie of Michael Sam has been floating around the internet the past few days, but the agent for the former Missouri linebacker says it’s not his client in the photo.
The photos come from Sam’s purported Grindr profile. Grindr is a hookup app for gay people and was the antecedent to Tinder, so the screenshots come from someone’s cell phone.
A site called PopWrapped posted the photos on Friday. You can take a look at the censored nude selfie below:
The photo on the left actually is one Sam posted on his Instagram account nine months ago, so either he used the same picture in his profile or someone just photoshopped it into a Grindr profile screenshot. As for the nude selfie, well …
“The picture is not Mike. It could be anyone. There’s no face,” Sam’s agent Cameron Weiss told TMZ.
Very true. It could be anyone. And it just so happens that both the guy in the naked picture and Michael Sam tend to wear yellow bracelets on the wrist:
