Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl ring, LSU rings seized in arrests
A Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl ring and several LSU football rings were seized as part of a recent drug bust at a home in Baton Rouge, La., WBRZ reports.
According to WBRZ, police arrested three men on theft and drug possession charges late Wednesday. Investigators were searching the home as part of a homicide investigation when they came across the drugs and stolen goods.
Per WBRZ, police found a Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl ring, 2004 LSU national championship ring, 2005 LSU Peach Bowl ring, and 2007 LSU Sugar Bowl ring in the residence. They also seized four pounds of marijuana, 10 doses of Hydrocodone, a handgun, a shotgun and some cash from the home.
The Advocate says the rings had been stolen from a friend who was holding them for former LSU running back Justin Vincent.
Rasheed and Jessie Scruggs were booked on marijuana and Hydrocodone possession, while 26-year-old Courtney Henderson was charged for nearly everything else, including possession with intent to distribute, gun possession, and possession of stolen items.
The mug shots of the men were pretty epic. From left-to-right it’s Rashee, Jessie, and Courtney:
