Aaron Dobson reportedly deactivated for mouthing off to Josh McDaniels
The New England Patriots have lacked wide receiver options on the outside in their past two games and curiously had both Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins inactive for Monday night’s blowout loss at Kansas City. Not it looks like we know why Dobson hasn’t been playing.
According to Boston Globe reporter Shalise Manza Young, Dobson was deactivated two games for “mouthing off” to offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

Dobson only has one catch for 14 yards this season, but he has the potential to do much more.
The No. 59 overall pick by the Patriots last year, Dobson had 37 catches for 519 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie. Hopefully for the sake of New England’s passing game whatever issues Dobson had with McDaniels have been resolved. Tom Brady sure could use all the help he can get, especially with the Bengals coming to town on Sunday.
