Aaron Donald to see limited snaps in first game back
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald is expected to play limited snaps in his first game back from his holdout.
Donald ended his holdout last week and did not play in the Rams’ Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He’s expected to play (and start) on Sunday against Washington in Week 2. However, defensive coordinator Wade Phillips says Donald will play limited snaps in the opener.
Phillips said Donald would be on "pitch count". He joked that it wouldn't be like Dodgers pitchers. "They haven't done too well lately."

Another interesting part about Donald’s debut is that he will be playing in Phillips’ 3-4 defense rather than the 4-3 defense he’s been used to in the past few seasons. Regardless of the system, Donald, who is one of the best defensive players in the game, will likely make a big impact.
