Report: Aaron Donald not expected to be suspended after Week 1 ejection
In a sequence that was surely symbolic of the Los Angeles Rams’ putrid Week 1 performance as a whole, defensive tackle Aaron Donald was ejected for committing two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties on the same play on Monday night. Fortunately for Donald, it doesn’t look like he will be facing a suspension for the incident.
According to a report by Mike Garafolo of NFL Network on Tuesday, Donald is not expected to be suspended for his fourth-quarter outburst and is instead only likely to be fined.
Had folks wondering if Rams DT Aaron Donald would face suspension for contacting ref last night. Source says that's not expected. Fine only.

The two-time Pro Bowler was ejected in the closing stages of the Rams’ embarrassing 28-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers after grabbing Niners wide receiver Quinton Patton by the neck and shoving his helmet off, then making contact with an official.
Donald is fortunate to be on the verge of escaping harsher discipline for the tantrum. But then again, considering the farce we saw unfold on the field Monday, playing for the Rams is probably punishment enough.
