Aaron Kromer placed on paid administrative leave by Bills

Aaron Kromer mug shot

Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer has been told to go home until the team can figure out if he actually punched a kid in the face.

The Bills said in a statement on Tuesday that Kromer has been placed on paid administrative leave while the incident from over the weekend is being investigated.

“Over the last few days our organization has continued to gather information in regards to the alleged incident involving Offensive Line Coach Aaron Kromer,” team president Russ Brandon wrote. “We have been in regular discussions with the league office and have decided to place Aaron on indefinite paid administrative leave in accordance with the league’s Personal Conduct Policy while we continue to work our way through the investigative process with the league.”

As you have likely heard, Kromer has been accused of punching a minor in the face and threatening to kill his family over the use of some beach chairs without permission. The veteran coach may argue that it was dark out and he did not know he was involved in a confrontation with kids, though Kromer’s son’s involvement in the incident could make things look even worse for the 48-year-old.

If you remember, Kromer is the same coach who anonymously bashed Jay Cutler last season and later came forward. Rex Ryan decided to hire him anyway, though he could be regretting that decision at the moment.
