Aaron Rodgers carted to locker room with right shoulder injury

Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers took a big hit from Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr early in Sunday’s game, and the Green Bay Packers quarterback was forced to leave the game.

Rodgers landed hard on his right arm and shoulder. Here’s a video of the hit:

He was examined briefly in the blue medical tent on Green Bay’s sideline before being carted to the locker room.

The Packers announced that Rodgers suffered a right shoulder injury and was questionable to return. The extent of the injury was unclear, but it must have been somewhat serious if he was unable to walk to the locker room under his own power.
