Aaron Rodgers declares he will play against Vikings in Week 2
Aaron Rodgers says there is no doubt about his status for Week 2.
Rodgers exited the Green Bay Packers’ win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday in the second quarter following a sack. He had his knee examined in the locker room and re-entered the game in the second half after deciding the tests revealed nothing too serious.
Rodgers may have been in pain from his injury, but he played through it and threw three touchdown passes to lead the Packers to a comeback victory.
After the game, Rodgers was interviewed by NBC’s Michele Tafoya, who asked the quarterback about his status for Week 2.
“Oh, I’m playing next week,” Rodgers said, without any doubt in his voice.
Minnesota, you are on alert: Rodgers will be playing against you next Sunday, painful knee or not.
