Adam Gase rips ‘garbage’ Dolphins offense

Adam Gase

The Miami Dolphins’ Week 3 loss to a rancid New York Jets team has head coach Adam Gase in a particularly sour mood.

Speaking with reporters on Monday, Gase called the team’s offense “garbage,” per Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.

The Dolphins were shutout nearly the entire game by the Jets, who had yet to win a game in 2017. They weren’t much better in a narrow Week 2 win over the San Diego Chargers either with one touchdown to four field goals.

Granted, Miami is without starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill and had to coax Jay Cutler out of retirement to start under center for them. But Gase has been sounding off on their offensive shortcomings for multiple seasons now, and ranking 27th in the NFL in yards per game and 30th in points per game through the first few weeks of the season (per ESPN) certainly isn’t helping.
