Adrian Peterson blasts referees, Ravens fans after loss

Adrian PetersonAdrian Peterson left Sunday’s Minnesota Vikings-Baltimore Ravens game after injuring his leg in the first half, but he still had plenty of opinions about the officiating and fans.

After his team lost 29-26 on a touchdown from Joe Flacco to Marlon Brown in the final seconds, Peterson sent out this tweet:

He later elaborated:

The good news is his injury must not have completely hurt his spirits if he felt well enough to tweet that.

Here’s the play where Peterson went down:

Peterson had 7 carries for 13 yards in the loss. Toby Gerhart replaced him and went for 89 yards on 15 carries. Peterson was specifically upset with the referees for upholding a fumble call on a Gerhart carry in the first quarter.
