Adrian Peterson blasts referees, Ravens fans after loss
Adrian Peterson left Sunday’s Minnesota Vikings-Baltimore Ravens game after injuring his leg in the first half, but he still had plenty of opinions about the officiating and fans.
After his team lost 29-26 on a touchdown from Joe Flacco to Marlon Brown in the final seconds, Peterson sent out this tweet:
Wow talking about bad officiating & the worst fan base I've ever experience! They threw snow balls the entire 4q like lil kids. Smh

He later elaborated:
So You just enjoying the game & the next thing you know ur hit in the face with a ball of ice correction not snowballs ICE BALLS.

The good news is his injury must not have completely hurt his spirits if he felt well enough to tweet that.
Here’s the play where Peterson went down:
Peterson had 7 carries for 13 yards in the loss. Toby Gerhart replaced him and went for 89 yards on 15 carries. Peterson was specifically upset with the referees for upholding a fumble call on a Gerhart carry in the first quarter.
