Adrian Peterson scored on a touchdown run Sunday that will earn a permanent place on his career highlight reel.
The Minnesota Vikings were down 20-17 to the Dallas Cowboys with six minutes left in the game. They had the ball on the 11 and 4th-and-inches and did what any sane coach would do — hand the ball to Peterson. He broke through the line for an easy first down and was met by safety Jeff Heath, who stood him up and nearly got him to the ground. But Peterson refused to go down and somehow kept moving forward like a train until he eventually scored to give the Vikings the lead.
