A.J. Green plans to return for Week 16
It may not be enough to save the Cincinnati Bengals’ season, but A.J. Green is inching closer to a return.
CBS Sports’s Evan Washburn reported Sunday that Green told him of his plans to play in Cincinnati’s Week 16 game at Houston.
Green feels that he needs only one more week to prepare for game action, having not played since Nov. 20 with a hamstring injury that was originally feared to be season-ending.
Green was back in practice this past week, so it was pretty clear that a return wasn’t that far off.
The Bengals may be out of the playoff race, but perhaps Green can be the difference for some fantasy owners looking to close out a championship. Green has 66 catches for 964 yards and four touchdowns this season.
