Amari Cooper reportedly did extra work in practice to cut down on drops
The Oakland Raiders need a big performance from wide receiver Amari Cooper on Sunday, and he’s been working hard to try to get it right.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Cooper stayed behind in practice this week to spend extra time working with quarterback Derek Carr on avoiding dropped passes and getting on the same page.

The former No. 4 overall pick has six drops in three weeks, and with Michael Crabtree out, he’ll need to be on against a difficult Denver Broncos secondary. The two-time Pro Bowler has been defended by his coach and is showing the necessary work ethic to fix his problems, so it’s a good bet he’ll be back to his best before long.
