Andrew Luck does not believe he will need another surgery

Andrew Luck on Friday spoke with the media for the first time since he was shut down for the 2017 season, and he gave Indianapolis Colts fans some reasons to be optimistic heading into 2018.

Luck, who just returned from rehabbing in Amsterdam, does not anticipate needing another surgery on his throwing arm. As of now, he is planning to be ready for all of the Colts’ offseason training program.

Luck originally underwent rotator cuff surgery prior to the 2017 season, and he suffered a setback when he experienced soreness while throwing two months ago. There was some fear that he may need a separate surgery to address biceps tendonitis, but Luck does not believe that will be necessary.

Without Luck, the Colts have gone 3-12 this season. They desperately need him back and healthy at the start of 2018.
