Arian Foster not yet healthy after visit with Dolphins

Free agent running back Arian Foster got his first free agent visit of the offseason with the Miami Dolphins, and while it supposedly went well, it’s not going to calm any fears about his health.

Foster, who is recovering from an Achilles injury, is “a little bit away” from full health, according to Dolphins VP Mike Tannenbaum.

Foster left without signing, as expected. The Dolphins weren’t expecting a fully healthy Foster and wanted to see where he’s at physically with the intention of possibly following up on their interest at a later date. Was told two weeks ago that Arian Foster won't be signing with anyone, anytime soon. Wants to get completely healthy. Could late May, June.

Foster’s older brother says his recovery is going great. That said, he’s a 30 year old running back with a long history of injuries. He’ll get a shot somewhere, though.
