Ben McAdoo reportedly interviewing for Browns OC job

Ben McAdoo

The Cleveland Browns are in search of a new offensive coordinator, and former New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo is getting a chance to state his case for the job.

Mark Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that McAdoo was scheduled to interview for the Browns’ OC job on Tuesday. McAdoo, who was fired on Dec. 4 after the Giants fell to 2-10, has a history with new Browns general manager John Dorsey. McAdoo was an assistant coach with the Packers for seven years while Dorsey worked in Green Bay’s front office.

Browns head coach Hue Jackson has already added one of McAdoo’s former assistants to his staff when he hired Adam Henry to coach wide receivers. Henry served in the same role under McAdoo with the Giants this past season.

Cabot also reports that Mike Mularkey is a candidate to serve as Cleveland’s next offensive coordinator after he parted ways with the Tennessee Titans on Monday.
