Ben Roethlisberger expected to play against Bengals
Assuming he does not suffer any setbacks with his injured knee in practice this week, Ben Roethlisberger is expected to return to action against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Roethlisberger has been cleared to practice without limitations and that the plan is for him to play this week.

Roethlisberger had previously said on his radio show that it would be up to Tomlin if he played against Cincinnati, and it sounds like Tomlin has given him the green light.
The Steelers will need all hands on deck against Cincinnati in what is their most important game of the season to date. A win for the Bengals would bring them to 7-0 and drop Pittsburgh to 4-4, giving Marvin Lewis’ team a stranglehold on the division heading into the second half of the season.
Michael Vick sat out Week 7 with a hamstring injury and third-string quarterback Landry Jones got the start. Despite what Jones did in a Week 6 win and the support one of his most respected veteran teammates showed for him, he was unable to get it done on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Steelers need a win badly, and Roethlisberger gives them the best chance to get one.
