Ben Roethlisberger: ‘I guess this cowboy has a little left in him’
Ben Roethlisberger had a different attitude after this week’s win over the Chiefs than he had after last week’s loss to the Jaguars.
Last Sunday, Pittsburgh was on the wrong end of a 30-9 score and Roethlisberger had one of his worst games with five interceptions. This week, Roethlisberger completed 17-of-25 passes for 252 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
After the game, Roethlisberger declared he might not be finished just yet.
Roethlisberger: “I guess this cowboy has a little left in him” when I asked about if he had any “told ya so” attitude after last week.

Last week, an obviously frustrated Roethlisberger declared he “might not have it anymore” although he later backtracked from that comment.
Coming into the season, the Steelers were expected to have one of the more explosive offenses in the NFL behind Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, and Martavis Bryant. That has largely not been the case thus far.
After handing the Chiefs their first loss of the season, the Steelers are now 4-2 and in first place in the AFC North. If Pittsburgh is going to hang on to win the division, they will need Roethlisberger to show he has more left in tank and not running on fumes.
