Ben Roethlisberger rips ‘talking heads’ for questioning his commitment
Ben Roethlisberger made headlines after Sunday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars when he wondered out loud if he has what it takes anymore, and the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is now determined to clean up the media storm he created.
On Wednesday, Roethlisberger said the media is “much more panicked” than the Steelers about the team’s less-than-stellar start. He also said he doesn’t care what “talking heads” have to say about his level of commitment to the team.
Ben Roethlisberger; "I think you guys are much more panicked than we are." How he got to point of confidence after Sunday: “Two Super Bowls, 100 some wins, 300-some, I don’t even know my own stats. I’ve been playing this game longer than you’ve probably been covering it.”

Roethlisberger on questions surrounding his 'maybe I don't have it anymore': 'That's fine. They can question me. I don't question myself…No offense to any of you guys, but it doesn't matter to me how you guys question me or not or quote-on-quote professional talking heads."

While Roethlisberger may have been speaking out of pure frustration after he threw five interceptions against Jacksonville, he has brought most — if not all — of this on himself. You can understand why hearing a star quarterback say he “might not have it anymore” drew a big reaction. Plus, this is the same quarterback who openly pondered retirement during the offseason.
With all the talk about Roethlisberger feeling sorry for himself and possibly having issues with a teammate, you have to wonder how the Steelers will handle the media going forward.
