Ben Roethlisberger was just as hard to sack back in high school (Video)

roethlisberger-highBen Roethlisberger has a reputation for being one of the toughest quarterbacks in the NFL to sack, and that reputation goes all the way back to high school.

Big Ben only played quarterback at Findlay High School in Ohio for one season — his senior year — because the coach’s son, Ryan Hite, was an excellent athlete who also excelled at QB. After moving from WR to QB for his senior year, Big Ben threw for 4,041 yards and 54 touchdowns at Findlay.

This highlight video shared by MaxPreps shows what Roethlisberger was like in high school. And for further reading, we suggest this SI profile on Ryan Hite.
